    Exporting Photoshop

    I was wondering if there was anyway to export a photoshop file back out to use in Photoshop?  I recently had a drive failure and lost the photoshop files.  So I just wanted to take what I had in Avid so I could at least have something to work with.

    Load the image into Source or Seq, park on the image, File>Export, choose Graphic, then choose Photoshop from the pulldown. 

    It'll export a psd file.

    just a sidenote that you should be aware that it never becomes the old PS file it was... ! It will be a flat small (PAL/NTSC) size image.

    The only problems that you'll have is that layers won't be preserved, and any alpha channel will be lost.
