I do not know what information I need to give people to get help or how I need to fix it. I updated Media Composer first to the newest version and I have a Mac book Pro macOS Monterey Version 12.6.1. I honestly might have messed up some file paths while trying to clear up space (I don't think I'd be that stupid, but who knows) Problem started with several of my sequences just going back to the first clip and not playing when I press all the possible buttons to make them play, but they will play if I mute the audio. I tried several ways that I had looked up to fix the problem, but nothing worked. Some sequences would work and then not work and then after a few minutes, avid would crash. For the sequences that did work anytime, I went to do anything, like trim a clip I would get the spinning ball of death for a few seconds, and then it would work. When I would go to export the sequences that would not play avid would just crash. I had been working for months with no problem. I put in months of work on those sequences for a nonprofit organization and I deeply need the sequences to export to meet my deadline or I completely lose months of work and have to start from scratch. does anyone have any advice or help??? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling avid. I dont know if i can call support and get help. I tried messing with the media cache.
