I upgrade from 2022.07 to 2022.10 on  pc with windows 10 eng pro/ - geforce graphics card GTX1080 studio driver 522/

I use alot the short cut CTRL+A or CRTL+SHIFT+A to select or deselect all tracks in the time line

It is very useful since I have more then 20 channels v+a and I can't see the whole timeline channels at once.

While my windows 10 eng pro - is set for hebrew input text language - the mc 2022.10 short cut CTRL+SHIFT+A to deselect all - doesn't work

The select all shortcut (CTRL+A) works just fine.

While the windows 10 pro set for eng input text language - those 2 shortcuts work just fine.

I tried to change user - didn't help

Tried to downgrade geforce graphics card driver from 522 to 512 - didn't help

Tried to downgrade mc back to 2022.7 - worked just fine

Tried to upgrade again to 2022.10 - and there is the problem again

can you recognize the problem and fix it?

Have you tried reprograming your Hebrew keyboard shortcut for deselect all to a different key or key + modifier option with the Command palette? 

I added shortcuts  to the MC keyboard, with command palette -   using shift key (can't program the CTRL key) and it worked.

I checked with a friend - and he also has the same issue - so i guess it's a bug on this release.

Sorry to be petty, but I really need the CTRL key to work for this 2 shortcuts due to speed editing process with keyboard

can you add it to the fix issues list for the next upgrade?

FWIW my solution to this sort of issue was to invest in a Stream Deck. I found this unit to be so useful and fast I invested in a second one. Now I have over 150 MC KB shortcuts setup on the Stream Deck and very rarely touch the KB now. I arrange my shortcut keys on the panel to suit my workflows.  If suddenly faced with your current issue just reprogram the appropriate Stream Deck key(s)  from CTRL To Shift  (literally 20 seconds). Any single or Multi-key shortcut can bemade into a labelled one key press action with a Stream Deck.
