Which of these two laptops is best for Avid

    Hello,

I am looking to buy a new laptop for working in Avid and have narrowed it down to these two computers. My preference is the Apple operating system, but what is most important to me is the processing power and speed of the computer when working with Avid. Curious what everyone's thoughts are? Thank you!

Both look good, but could be overkill if you're just using it for offline editing? What do you plan to use this laptop for? What will you be editing? What kind of codecs?

I would suggest a minimum of 32 GB of ram.

I plan to do offline and online editing with it. I will be editing with 4K ProRes footage.

Thank you for the link. That's helpful!
