    autosync tracknames retaining

i have media composer 2022.7 on mac cheesegrater, at my workplace , which i use to edit 25fps series episodes. i usually synch audio from recorder in a timeline. move clips and rename tracks to character's names. make sub sequences  but when i autosync , track names are lost. (so had to use subsequences , which i dont like because they by default dont load in source monitor). but one strange thing happened i had one 50 fps audio in timeline, and when i autosynched the sub sequence, it retained track names perfectly( 50 fps audio in 25 fps made this magic happen). and for that clip in an edited sequence, i could select each source track on timeline track names not A01,A02 etc. but this does not happen with other framerates. i wish it works. is there a setting which i need to enable?

    Re: autosync tracknames retaining

Autosyncing the mixed framerates might have created a group clip instead?  Groups will retain the original clip names of your grouped audio.

If you start grouping instead of Autosyncing, you'll get what you want, I think.
