    Macbook Pro 14" Base spec

    Has anybody successfully used the base model 14" Macbook Pro 16GB ram?

    I know it’s not qualified; I have ordered a Mac Studio Ultra to replace my current Macbook Pro 16" i9 32GB ram as my main machine.

    I have grown to really dislike my Intel i9 Macbook Pro 16"; its noisy, hot and problematic.

    I'd like to get a base spec secondary portable machine that can do the odd job when I'm away or for a quick in-person edit session in an agency/production company. I'd love to hear experiences and specs.

    I wouldn't worry so much about qualified/unqualified systems. I can explain why, but that's a discussion for another thread I think!

    16GB of RAM is really the bare minimum for media composer. If you can, go for 32GB of ram, it will make a big difference. 

    How many cores does that system have? What's the GPU?
