Delete audio clip on track without deleting locators/markers OR Add locators to fixed track

Is there any way to add locators/markers always to the video track, even if the track is not activated?

Or is there a way to delete clips from tracks without deleting the markers on those tracks?

I am trying to log a sequence with footage from a shooting day with a lot of audio tracks.

I created a sequence with all clips and I am trying to delete the audio tracks from clips I dont need plus I add colored markers.

So for example I have audio track 2 and 3 activated and just hit "lift" to get rid of them and to understand whats being said.

But when I add a locator, it will be added on track 2 as it is the topmost active track.

I could move them all to V1 later on using the locator window BUT:

When I delete track 2 and 3 during playback on the fly, my locators on those tracks are gone.

    Is there a solution?

Can I tell avid to ALWAYS put markers on V1 for example? Or can I set it to keep markers when deleting the clip on the track?

I am editing on a very old macbook pro / mid 2012 with 16 GB ram Using macOS Catalina 10.15.7 And usually the newest AVID Version / right now its 2020... [view my complete system specs]
