I added shortscuts to the keyboard to open the mixer and the effect editor.

But is there a shortcut to close them as well?

Maybe a shortcut to close the currently highlighted window?

Cmd-W doesn't do that for you?

I have a default workspace, mapped to a key. So whatever tools or modes I may be in, hitting F11 brings me back to my base workspace. That closes all tools I don't have open in that base workspace.
