2019.12.1 crashes when applying effects

I upgraded from 2019.12.0 recently. I am now getting a lot of application crashes when applying effects from the effects pallate. 'Command s' is now my best friend before I try dragging any effects onto the timeline.

Anybody else having this problem?

David,

Effects are divided into two categories for video (Filters and Transitions); and two categories for audio (Clip Effects and Track Effects). Which ones are causing this or are all of them wonky and causing crashes?

Any crash logs?

Any soecific effect causing this as well....
