    Avid 2020.6 UME export missing?

    Hello.

Since 2020.4 Ive use the MOV with UME export. Today i updated to .6 and saddly my preset for UME is blank and there is no MOV to choose from the dropdown menu. Is it moved somewhere else or is it a bug?

Im adding the screenshot for my dropdown.

"Open EXR" ends the list in my Avid. In .4 it was fine.

Unfortunately "Open EXR" in my Avid ends the list.

I've still got MOV in 2020.6, but I don't have some of the other choices you have. I'm just guessing, but maybe it has to do with the resolution of the clip/sequence or the project format?

As 2020.6 supports VF exports through .mov you should.

I always uninstall previous version run reg clen and then install the newer one.

Indeed. This project does not show MOV export. My other project does. Weird.

That's good practice, but just so the OP doesn't start uninstalling and reinstalling, I always just install the latest version over whatever I was running before, and I've had no trouble.

What is different about the two projects? Raster size? Frame rate? Resolution of the source material? Something else?

Re: Avid 2020.6 UME export missing?

Ha! Good thinking! Color space of the "faulty" project was set to YCbCR 709 / S-log3. When I set ordinary YCbCR 709 MOV returned to dropdown menu in export.

Thanks everybody! The thread is ready to be closed.

You're welcome! I'm glad we were able to find the solution,
