Is it okay to run Avid Media Composer on a system drive tht has been partioned to C and D?
I do that for several years.
I suggest using a totally different drive for your media.

That is also my procedure: MC on drive C, Video Files on drive V, Render Files on drive R.
By this way deleting unused render files is safer.
