Hi: simple question, a customer has 6 audio tracks on the editing (music, VO, NAT1, NAT2) and wants to export the sequence to an OP-1A stereo file using XDCAM HD35. Since he's using XDCAM HD 35, the export profile always has 4 audio tracks so we're missing 2, and the AMA Export doesn't have XDcam as option.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Felipe.

I don't think Avid's XDCAM op1a export allows for this, unfortunately. Gotta do a mixdown.
felipousis:export the sequence to an OP-1A stereo file. ......and the AMA Export doesn't have XDcam as option.
FWIW I repeated with a timeline consisting of 60 EX 1080 50i clips AMA linked. Exported this 52 minute timeline to OP-1A file (took 11 minutes) Used DNx 85. AMA linked that back to the project no problems.
Hi Andrew: you just confirmed my statement =>
AndrewAction: Used DNx 85
What I would like to have is the option to export my XDCAM HD35 media, already as OP-Atom MXF, into an MXF XDCAM HD35 OP-1A, but sadly the AMA export doesn't have that option.
This question has been around for years, the oldest post I have found was from 2003, Media Composer MUST allow to do a stereo audio export either via Export OP-1A or the AMA Export, too many people really needed and the time you spend doing an Audio Mixdonw is affecting your delivery time.
Regards.
