I'm viewing a tutorial on the Boris site that says my subscription to Avid Media Composer 8 comes with a set of free BCC effects, however I do not see these effects in my pallate.  How do I get the free BCC effects?  Anyone else have this issue?

Did you install BCC lite ? It comes with AMC 8.x

I did not see it in the setup nor is it in my Avid Application Manager.

Log in to your account and open "My Products and Subscriptions". Under "Product details and download links" you'll find BCC 9.0.1 lite installers. No serial number required.

Can you run BCC 8 and BCC 9 Lite side by side?

I did not install BCC Lite. I run BCC 8.2.

No, but if you have BCC8 then you have those effects already (although the BCC9 versions will have some improvements, optimizations, and the graphical preset browser, etc.)
