I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but just upgraded four systems to v8.1 (3 Symphony's and a Media Composer). The bug. Using the audio gain feature, when you set the gain to 0, then play you hear a destint pop at the beginning. Tried a few work arounds but got the pop every time.
If you mix down or export there is no pop, but if you layoff to tape there is.
Has anyone had the same experience? Any work arounds or when it might be fixed??

I too have the same problem. This is definitely a bug in this version.
What I'm doing to dump to tape is an audio mixdown.
