Do I really have to download MC7 between June 27^th and July 1^st - ???

The last Q of the FAQs:

Q:   I just purchased Symphony 6.5. Am I eligible to receive an upgrade to Media Composer 7 with the Symphony Option for free?
A:   If you purchased Symphony 6.5 within the Avid Protection period (...) Simply access your Avid Account between June 27^th and July 1^st to download your Media Composer 7 installer and the Activation codes for Media Composer 7 and the Symphony Option.

As far as I know, there has been NO OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE announced by Avid for Media Composer 7. The only restriction in place as of now is that in order to qualify for the free upgrade to MC 7, upgrade purchases for MC 6.5 made on or after April 7th 2013 must be REGISTERED NO LATER THAN June 30, 2013. The upgrade does not have to be installed in order to register.

I'll ask Marianna for clarification.

Marianna indicates that the activations for those that are part of protect will be deposited in their My Account so they can download MC 7 when they want it. She also indicates that it looks like June 27 is (tentatively) the target for day of release.
