As of now Sony's new codec XAVC and using it with their newset AMA plugin 2.31, is not hazzel free... You cannot import clips longer then 20 minutes using Media Composer or Symphony.
The workaround is to use Content Browser 2.0.1 (which you can get a free serialnumber to use until June this year... Thank you dear Sony *lol*) and devide the long clip into smaller bits. Then you have to rename the clip and taking away the (x) which is created with the new clips, eg if the original clip is called Clip0318.mxf, the new mxf and xml files is called Clip0318(1).mxf / Clip0318(1)M01.xml, then rename them into Clip0318_1.mxf / Clip0318_1M01.xml and so on.
Then you can import them into the Avid system.
I have contacted Sony and Avid about this, but who knows what's gonna happend...
