I have been working around the clock to solve this problem with no luck. I have done all the reading, followed all the recommendations from this forum, now, I'm out of gas and I need any help I can get.
I just upgraded my monitors to Samsung 24 inches, I use to run Symphony on to old monitors Flexscan 18.1 inch with no problem. Timeline on right and dialog boxes on left monitor.
With these monitors the left window collapse over the right window that has a timeline, I have to drag it all the way toward the left window for proper sitting on every ocations. This behavior happened when I first start the Symphony.
I move the monitors to other workstation that runs Snow leopard, no problem at all at 1920x1200.
During all this time I could narrow down the problem to video resolution when I drop down one notch the resolution on right monitor, then the problem is gone on Symphony start up. Now, what is going on?
Symphony 6.3.2
Pny Quadro FX 3700 with Avid latest driver
Windows 7 with the latest updates
From what I have been reading, this problem is within the windows not Mac. I would thank anyone for help on this.

I had this on two systems. Mine personal system is a Symphony at home on dual ASUS 23". At work we have all HP 23", and just one Media Composer system has the issue. BTW, both ar running v6.5.x. Hmmm.
At home I just trashed the settings and it was OK.
• In the Settings folder, trash MC State, Site Settings, and Site Attributes• In the project folder, trash the project settings file (.avs)• Make a new user Profile
At work, that fix didn't work. I am running the Avid qualified driver on both.

Hopefully, not the "latest" driver nVida provides. Avid provides their qualified & supported driver for you here:

Tom is probably referring to this:
Thanks for reply, They are exact the same hight, also as to identify the monitors number 1 is at right and 2 on left, number 2 is checked as a main one.
When the height are even problem starts, when I move the right monitor a notch down, program opens up normal on two screen.
Things to check/do
1. Make sure the primary Windows 7 monitor is the left one (toolbar).
2. Resolution is the same and aligned.
3. Delete your MCState, Site Settings and Site Attribute files. Createa new user also.
4.Try uninstalling the NVidia drivers in Safe More. Reboot and reinstall.
