    markers not showing up

Markers placed on an empty track in the timeline are not showing up in the marker tool window. I often leave the top video track blank and use it for markers so that I can see them clearly. In the past these would always show up in the marker window (which used to be called the locator tool.) Is there some setting to get these markers to show up - it will take a lot of time to redo markers on all my clips and sequences.

    Thank you.

    Re: markers not showing up

I figured it out. The markers are in the marker window consecutively by track. There are 4 layers of video - so all the markers on the first layer are listed first, then all the 2nd layer markers, etc. So all the markers for the empty top layer are at the end, instead of chronologically which would be more helpful.

If anyone knows of a preference setting to change this, please let me know.

    Thanks
