My company is interested in purchasing Script Sync. Does Script Sync need to be installed on all machines for all the editors to have access to it or can there be one station dedicated to syncing scripts?
I have heard that MC4 has script sync without having to purchase it as a separate add on. All the stations use MC6. Would it be possible to have one station that is MC4 and transfer the synced scripts to the MC6 machines? Thanks.
Any Media Composer can open Scrip files but you'll need ScriptSync installed on one machine to line up voice and text marks automatically.
Must think of something clever to go here...
In order to use phrasefind though each MC will have to have it?
So, a MC6 without script sync will have a script and you'll be able to click on words and it will still go to the appropriate part in the video...it just won't be able to do the original sycning.
