Does anyone know of a simple solution for putting a monoscopic (2D) clip in a stereoscopic show? Sure I could take the clip, make a video mixdown of it, call one left and the other one right in the S3D Channel column, group name them and then make stereoscopioc clip but is there an easier way? I've got 30 or 40 monoscopic shots that I don't want to have to do this for all of them. I would hope there's just an effect I could drop on and solve the problem?
From the NAB demo I saw last year I thought there was a way to tell Avid a clip is 2D or perhaps monoscopic in the meta data just like you do for telling it things like rt eye or left eye etc... Avid would then do what was needed to get it into a 3D timeline. I assumed that functionality was in V6 but I haven's really played with the 3D in V6 to know.

Duh! Thanks John, I was completely trying to out think the problem when it's a piece of cake. Just put the Spatial Alignment clip on and adjust vergence positive. Okay, dumb question of the week out of the way.
