Play Source and Record monitors at the same time?

Hello. That's my question. Can it be done?

Actually what I needed it for was to try some sound clips that have a series of different sounds within those clips, and I needed to see wich ones work better on my sequence. So I wanted to leave the sequence in a constant playback, like the play in-to-out option, but WHILE I listen to the differents sounds in my clip, So I can mark which ones could work better.

I'm not sure if this is something I can do with multicamera (I think not from what I've been reading, although I still don't have a clear grasp of how does the multicamera tool work)

    Thanks again

In mc itself AVID is only able to do play or something else, not both ;-)

I would suggest you, playing your timeline in loop as you mentioned and opening an external mediaplayer like for listening to your audioclips.

    Best regards,

Oh... ok. I'll have to make some workaround like that... although I cannot add locators or markers that way. But it'll have to do. A shame though.

Many thanks for your quick response.

    bye
