Wasn't even sure how to search for this one.
I have a sequence 45 minutes long with 10 tracks of audio. I realize that such length is too long for a single AAF. In the past I'm broken it up into 2 chunks and it worked fine. Now, however, I try exporting an AAF of a 10 minute section and I get a prompt that it's over the 2GB file size limit. What's more confusing, it that I was able to export 2 seperate sections (each around 7 minutes), each ending up at 300mb. But when exporting both sections as one, it goes over the 2GB limit. How can this be?
I'm so very confused. Thanks in advance to all help.
Jason
I have no idea, but a suggestion, why not export A1A2 as one aaf and see how that goes, then move on to the next tracks. Combining them will be easier for the sound post than cutting it in pieces...
Are you exporting Video with any of these?
Are you consolidating before exporting
FWIW I have not had problems with audio only 90 minute 20 audio tracks AAF as one export
thanks guys,
The post facility prefers sections of all tracks as opposed to entire single tracks. They say it's easier for them.
We are not exporting video. We tried both before and after consolidatig the sequence. Same problem both times.
