I am running an Avid DS on a HPZ800. The OS is Windows XP 64 bit (which is the only OS that Avid DS 10.3 will run on) and that seems to be the one OS that MacDrive does not support are there any other solutions for reading a Mac drive while running on this OS? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Bryan
No, there are no utilities that run on Win XP Pro x64. Vista & Win 7, yes. So, no help for now. Meanwhile, mount the drive on a Mac that is on the network and share the drive/volume.

Paragon's HFS + for Windows. For some reason, it doesn't work for everyone, but you might be one of the lucky ones. I'd highly recommend backing up your system and also setting a restore point before installing it (or anything else).

Paragon HFS+ works for me most of the time. Sometimes it won't mount automatically but it has a little manual mount utility. Sometimes it does not work at all. Recommended.
I thought it was free though. Maye it was and they are selling it now. It's reasonably priced.

It was free for a limited time. I've found it doesn't always automatically assign a drive letter. Sometimes I need to open Drive Management and scan for connected drives. That being said, it is a solution until DS goes Win 7.
