As I understand, the Ikegami GFCams use flash memory packs to store full hd resolution MPEG2 in MXF container. Have a look at the various "how to import MPEG2 media" threads.

    Hello

I check with Avid guy and be confirmed that in August 2009 Avid will release a GFCAM 50 codec support for Avid Media COmposer. I think this plug-in codec will solve this problem.

    Cheers. Smile

    Jimmy.
