I thought I'd jump in and let you know that I did not abandon the Tutorials production.
Almost 1 month and no new tutorial from me!I guess it is a summer thing.
Summer! ? Well coming from Scotland and having lived in Sweden for 32 years I feel that the 30C in Kumamoto is still very much summer..... even though it will soon be October.Patience..... I will be back!

Here are a couple more Tutorials.
For many of you they are explaining very simple points. But there are still newcomers arriving here daily.......
Here is another! Now I made it to 150!Next target 200!!
As I am still working away happily with MC 3.1.2 on Windows XP Pro and Avid is swishing ahead with upgrades and updates I realise that the users are less and less likely to be using the same set-up as I.So now I have begun to add a small title at the beginning of my Tutorials to show which MC version is being used in my Tutorials. (At least I will do that if and when I remember to do it! If there is anything I explain in the Tutorials that doesn't work for you - it may be due to version or set-up differences.Just for the record I am still planning on upgrading both my MC and my OS sometime this Autumn/Winter.
Hi Douglas,
did you receive my reply to the Ctrl-x thing? I also mentioned Scott Carnegie's tips and placed a download to the PDF version. Yesterday my reply was there but now I don't see it anymore in your "Link 152" page. Just curious if it got to you.

But "there" is not where you thought....
You actually replied to Link 148! HERE
I guess I had too many "Revisited" Tutorials.
Allright! Sometimes things can get quiet confusing. Now I know where to look.
Thanks, iedjie
I will probably be posting one or two more Tutorials done with MC 3.1.2.Then I will move over to MC 4.0.2

Greetings- I am having trouble viewing the videos. I just a spinning circle that seems to indicate the video is loading but it just spins and spins. How long should it take? I have QT10 and VLC players loaded on my system.
Actually you only need to have flash in your browser, the spinning circle indicates that you have. Either you don't have the latest version of flash, or a very slow connection. Usually the clips start (almost) immediately after initial buffering, no more than a couple of seconds delay.
I just tested some clips, the problem must lie on your end.
not a pro, just a teacher...
Also, I see that you post on the MAC Forums. Are you using a MAC?If so, I have heard that there can be some problems viewing the Tutorials depending on your Browser etc.
I know that Adam Kranitz is at home with this problem.I have forgotten what the solution was.I'll try and track it down for you - if you are on a MAC
yup I'm on a mac
ok- got it with Firefox. Boy these are great!
Bokes:ok- got it with Firefox. Boy these are great!
