Codec Moment:if not 3.
Oh, my bad. I'm running 10.5.6. I forgot to update OS in my specs.
I trust orange juice more than I trust most people.
Wanted to add something as we await confirmation from a third person:
On a subjective level, my impression is that the fades are not linear as they used to be, but instead some kind of logarithmic curve (see picture of curves from a different app, used as illustration). The fade is very gradual until it suddenly drops off at the end. This also seems new to me in v3.5.1.
Anyone?
BTW: this is true whether I change the audio settings to "constant power (-3dB)" or "linear (-6dB)."

**Bump**
Still waiting for at least one more 3.5 user to confirm the presence of this problem so I can escalate the issue.

Here's your third editor out. I definitely have the issue; my real time audio effects only work when rendered or if I start from an earlier position in the timeline.
Other than that Avid 3.5.1 has been a joy.
I am escalating this issue to Avid Engineering and QA.

Thank you , thank you, thank you!
