Locators not preserved into Group Clips

Is this a bug or a feature?

    Avid Media Composer 2.5.3

Whenever I create a group clip from two seperate clips (subclips) the locators from the subclips are not put into the grouped clip.

This is not a preffered behaviour. Is there an option I am missing somewhere. Was this fixed in a newer version?

This was a bug sent to avid in 2008 on the last show we worked on.

No answer from anyone. Obviously there is no demand on this, or Avid can't spare the time to fix it.

This is just the sort of thinking that will sink the company in a few years while other editing systems in the market will take over.

Manually matching frame to the original clip and then re-editing it over. Re-importing the locators is the only way we can make the locators show up on the EDL, but try doing that for an entire feature film.

Thanks again Avid for ignoring us.
