And now the first test, a hdv2 clip, 43 sec export to wmp hd 1080 file.
Time to make the file, 9,38 minutes, both cores running at between 95 and 100%, cpu temperature 48 C.
My other machine makes that file in 32 minutes...

Tomas,
How long is the clip in realtime play?
sverkalo:It seems that we are not ready for HD.But are we ready for HDV?Because your test isn't for HDV but for HD.While it's quite an improvement over the P4 it doesn't seem attractive. We'd need almost 15 hours for an Hour of WMP HD file.
Hi George
Yes, it do still take a lot of time but I think it is better now, if I organize my working routines in a good way.
I do some dvd-disks with bonus folders, putting a wmf hdformat file into that folder. With my old machine, a 17 minutes clip took 20 hours, that is really terrible.
With the new machine, I will be able to make that file in maybe 5 hours and a 30 minutes project in maybe 8 hours, that is one night.
Working routine as follow:
1. Make a iso file or ts folder of the project, watch it to see if it is good.
2. Backing up the project.
3. When evening comes or I am leaving my computer for a couple of hours, (many hours...) make a wmf for hd.
4. Coming back to the computer, watch the wmf file, burn the dvd-disk with ts folders and bonus folder.
moodman: Tomas, How long is the clip in realtime play?
43 sec as I wrote or do you mean something else?

Hey folks,For some reason, my second monitor won't go full screen anymore. It's a bit intermittent i.e.. shutting down sometimes helps. But most of the time it just won't work.Is this a video card thing?*** Also, here is a possible clue. Under the VIDEO PLAYBACK window it says "(Missing) Digital Cinema - Desktop Preview -Full Screen" is greyed out or in other words missing.Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!here are my specs:Processor 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel XeonMemory 6 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECCGraphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512 MBSoftware OS X 10.9.5 (13F1096)MC 7.0.4.3
