Am I to undestand that if I download the "legacy componnents" at https://my.avid.com/esd/product/download?id=2489 ie legacy tools I will have the original old school title tool for my Mac Studio running / Monterey, MC 2022.12.

What is in this legacy package exactly?

What is in this legacy package exactly? 

Starting with v2020.x of Media Composer, the Mac installer does not include the legacy title tool, Marquee title app, or Quicktime codecs, because none of those are supported on Catalina or later versions of the Mac OS.

You could, however, run v2020 and v2021 on Macs with pre-Catalina versions of the Mac OS, so Avid packaged the legacy title tool, Marquee title app, and Quicktime codecs in one download for those systems.

Nope. Monterey doesn't run 32-bit apps, so the legacy title tool, Marquee title app, and Quicktime will not work.

Thanks. I'm actually not at all looking to use the Marquee tool but the plain old basic title tool no marquee. I wasn't a big fan of Marquee tool and hated when I accidently promoted a title. I imagine that the purely basic old title tool from the old days is only 32 bit. 

What other things are in this legacy package? Are any 64 bit?
