My footage won't play back

Good afternoon,

I wonder if anyone can assist.

I am having a problem with my Avid Media composer 2022.10.0

Imac 3.8GHz Quad-core Interl Core i5

64gb Ram

Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

I have AMA linked to footage on an external harddrive and in the beginning it played back just fine but now it won't play back on the timeline however I can scroll through the footage. I do hear the audio but the picture stays on the current frame.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprecviated.

What version of the OS are you using?

DIY quad core I7-4790K, 32Gb, NVidia RTX 2060 Super 8, Win 10 Pro, MC (generally the latest or the one just before) [view my complete system specs]
