Dear All,
After switching to Effect Mode and back to Source/Record Mode, the Audio mixer switches from Live to Clip or Auto. I have to switch manually back to Live. Does anyone know if this is a bug or a feature? MC 2021.12.4, MC 2021.12.5, MC 2022.10.
Best Regards,
Martin
Hi Martin,
After you switch back to source/record mode and switch the mixer back to Live, save your edit workspace and see if that solves it. (This assumes you're getting to source/record mode by invoking the edit workspace.)

Hi Carl,
Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, even switching by Workspace does not solve this problem. I tried both versions. Switch by timeline buttons and switch by workspace. The result is the same.
Regards,
I just tried it on my system and it does the same as yours. I'd suggest you should post a feature request that the mixer mode should be saved with the workspace so you don't have to switch it every time you switch workspaces.
Here's a link to the feature request forum:

Yes, I can make a request, but the usual way for us is to use the Effect button on the timeline and then close it. It worked that way in previous versions ( 2018.12.15, 2018.12.7.) And I don't know if it is a bug or a feature in these new versions.
Hi,
MC2022.12 - same problem with Audio Mix switching.
