Hello,
We are using MC 2018.12.7 and 2018.12.15 on Windows 10 Pro. Lenovo P520.
The problem is that very often when trying to link video it starts to import instead of linking.
Does anybody experience the same? Any solution?
Thanks
I haven't seen this. I usually link by ALT+dragging clips or folders into a bin. How are you linking?

We link by the normal way throgh the menus.
Input browser than select the files or folder to be linked and icheck the checkbox link next to import and then click on link button. It starts to import instead of linking. But not alwasys. Can't find why and when, so I conclude it is a bug. We have 27 edit stations and it is the same behaviour to all.
I am not aware of your way so far. Will test it tomorrow when I will be at work. Thanks.
I also link via the alt+drag method but I have just tried it through the source browser on 2018.12.15 and it works fine here.

If you tried it just once the chance to see this problem is minor. As I said we have 27 workstations which are in use 10-14 hours a day, sometimes more. This happens occasionally, but is very annoying and I can't find out the reason.I wonder if this has something with the clip type to be linked. When this problem happens sometimes restart the whole machine resolves the problem, but sometimes doesn't.
