Hi, i have an issue with copy / paste segment in avid 2018 on the timeline (it's working on bin name ), i check the keyboard, the settings, reboot etc . it doesnt work in avid media composer only. i'm on v2018 on windows, anyone got a solution is welcome ;)

What exact steps are you doing in Media Composer to copy/paste segments, and at what point is it not working?

Hi, thanks. i select segment tool in red, select a segment on the Timeline then CTRL+C to copy then CTRL+V to paste. sometimes it doesnt work and sometimes it does (as the CTRL+Z in the timeline)....

After clicking on a given clip on the timeline with the red arrow, do You hit the select in/out keyboard key? Also try CTRL-ALT-C, wich will load the selection in the player monitor, so that You can double check that the copy operation went well.

yes i know this way to copy paste but as i Say when this problem happens even the control z doesnt work anymo

I don't know of one. It would help to know your system specifications. Which specific version of Media Composer are you using? Which specific operating system? Processor? Amount of RAM? Video card? Is your media linked, transcoded, or imported? Where is your media stored? Look at my profile at the bottom of this post for an example.
