    Start time fps audio import

Hey everyone. I'm on the stage of importing audio and syncing. My project is 24 fps, footage is 23.98. What fps should I choose for the start time on the import window for the audio? I thought it should be 24 same as the project, but then my auto wave sync is not working saying that the rates are not matching. Auto wave sync is my only hope since there is no proper timecodes, labeling or slate on audio files. I'm also a little concered that I might have issues relinking audio if I set up a wrong fps startiime. Thank you in advance.

If the footage is 23.976, the project should also be 23.976, and not 24. The TC rate upon import does not change the playback speed of the audio at all, it only tells MC how to count the incoming samples.

You shouldn't relink audio. The audio you import is full quality uncompressed. That audio should be retained for the finishing dub.

If you have to relink camera sources only relink video.
