Hey everyone, quick question on assigning reel names. I'm using Resolve to Avid workflow.  In assist reel name tab I choose media pool folder name. Did anyone had any issues relinking back to original media using this method? Thank you. 

I can't see any problems! As long as the timecode is good and there is some consistent metadata (e.g. reel names) between the online and offline clips it should relink

I'd always do a test of the round trip first.

Use a few source clips. Make a short dummy sequence. send to resolve, add a basic grade and send back.

Its important a workflow is tested for issues before your are in the job.

If the workflow works stick to it, don't change it (without doing more tests)
