Hi everyone. After the installation of MC version 2021.12 the Symphony option disappeared.
In Avid Link it is enabled but not installed (but already installed on computer).
Also when I start the program it tells me "no options".
How do I go about getting the software to re-detect Symphony?
Thank you.

Does the Symphony option show up as activated in Avid Link?
If it does, but MC is not seeing it, Send Chris an email: Chris.Bove@avid.com
He works for Avid and can help you.

Yes, in Avid Link it is indicated as activated. But the strange thing is that:
- I had to manually enter the serial number of Simphony because otherwise it did not mark it as active
- indicates that the option expires in one year despite being a perpetual license purchased years ago
I will also try with the mail. Thank you!
I bought an Intel Mac Mini (64 Gb RAM) for my studio and an M1 MacBook Air (16 Gb RAM) for personal use at the same time last February.
I run Pro Tools Ultimate 2021.6.
I normally just work on the Mini in my studio but was heading out of town for a week last November and decided to instal PT on the M1 Air so I could continue working while I was away. It works great. My Waves and UAD plugins work perfectly (brought a UAD satellite on my trip), and the Plugin Alliance everything bundle also worked perfectly, as did the Arturia V collection. Same with a number of other more boutique plugins. Am now considering one of the new Mac Studios for my.. well, studio. I no longer have any concerns about working on an M1 system.
YMMV. I know that there are still some plugins that aren’t compatible so you should research specifics. Good luck!
Edit: not 100% sure on backwards compatibility but knowing Avid, I highly doubt it. You’ll almost certainly need to update PT to the latest release. Again, good luck!
