    NEW Graid 12 TB seems slow - multicam mode

    Hi Does anybody have an issue with jerky playback

    on a quad multicam?

    My co wroker hads a single Gdrive and plays smooth.

    Same iMAC - 32G RAM

    Its a 1080 project, should be fine.

    First thing to check: if you're connecting via Thunderbolt 3 make sure the cable has a Thunderbolt icon on the connector if it doesn't you could be running at USB 2 speeds.

    There are some variables to consider: Same resolution and codec as your co-worker? Are you using DNX 175 while your co-worker has DNX 36 sources. Same connection between the drive and the computer? Are you both using Thunderbolt or is the slower drive connected using USB-C?
