    Trial period has ended message but I have just installed?

    HI

     

    Years ago I had a trial version of MC(I tried to delete everything manually since the uninstallers were missing?) but a month ago I downloaded the 21.9 version. I could not manage to install and recently finally updated my OS to Catalina, running on a mac mini 2014. The install is good but the first time I opened MC it is now telling me the trial has expired?

    I thought a trial version would start the moment you run MC for the first time?

    What to do?
