I have a problem with playback - sometimes frames are shown as black, after fiddling with frameflex or restarting MC they eventually come back to being displayed. I tried with just one bin open, until now fine.

With 64GB ram on a 10 core i9 and playback of 25fps DNxHD LB from SSD, it should be possible to have more than one bin open, right?

I´m more or less past the frustration that my formerly favorite software now gives me regular screaming fits, but still it´s sad that something essential like playback now stops being reliable.

Try with fresh user settings?

Do you have an I/O card or full screen playback mode enabled?

I use intensity pro 4k for playback. No , I haven´t tried a new user yet but will if this goes on. Why generations of editors have to use up a total of probably decades of manpower to create new users all the time is also beyond me, I mean, the setting concept has been with MC a long time but still hasn´t been implemented in a way that doesn´t potentially render your system completely unusable every other month.
