Just in case you haven't seen it,  Videoguys has a special on the Avid License Renewal.  Next year's price will be $499, their special is $385.  You can check out the specials at Videoguys.com.

Thanks for the heads up - just to point out, here in the UK, that would be £329 at current euro/sterling exchange and until the 30th it is still possible to renew for a further 12 months appended to your existing contract, for £320, direct from Avid. Despite my reservations detailed elsewhere I will do this, since as someone mentioned that would take me thru the Windows 11 rollout, at least, which could possibly leave me high and dry otherwise.

What is not clear from the Videoguys offer is, whether the same price discount will be available after the 30th.

OK, so I went ahead and bought this from Videoguys. It actually worked out at around £285 with exchange, so a great deal really - whereas from the Avid shop, my renewal price was actually £385 old price! So I don't know where the £320 came from on Avid's page. I think it was perhaps less VAT? 

However even though my VG account says paid and it has definitely left my credit card and I have recieved the confimation PO, it stills says unfullfilled and I have not recieved a code.

Same here. Order confirmation mail, money deducted from my Credit card but no code.

I've always bought from them and they are always cheaper. Don't worry, if you ordered it you'll get it, they are quite responsive via email too, might just take a little time.

Yes it came through very quickly today, they have to redeem the code from Avid, it is not an automated process, therefore weekdays. It was great value and I will use them again too!

Next year Avid's price will be, with VAT, very close to £500, which for support (basic and I have used 3 times in 5 years) and 12 months upgrade, when you have bought the software in the first place, is incredible! I will have to see how they fare during the year. The VG's offer was a no brainer right now for me.

Mail with code arrived yesterday evening, all good until Dec. 2022.
