    Difficulty Exporting

I have AvidMediaComposer|First and can't seem to export my final sequence. Unlike in the past when I could go into File>Output>Export, all I can find is a "publish to" option. I attempted to "publish to" youtube, my desktop, and a SD card but every time Avid crashed immediately after I clicked ok. I have tried transcoding, doing V/A mixdown, and changing the video dimenisions between H.264 and DNxHD, but nothing seems to make a difference. Long story short, is there a quick and easy export option like in the 2018 version, or do I need to do something further? Could it have something to do with using the free "First" version rather than Media Composer? In the past I was using Media Composer 2018 on a Mac desktop in my school, now I am using 2021.5 First on my macbook pro.

    Re: Difficulty Exporting

MC First has limitations over regular MC so yes you have less options. But it shoukd still work.

You should have to option to export as a file (even if its called publishing it)

You haven't listed you system specs mac PC OS version etc.
