Hi All,
My computer crashed whilst I was editing and now I can't open the Bin to access the project I was editing.
I am getting this error: File does not contain a valid Avid domain header
I have been editing using Media Composer for years with very little trouble. I just need to restore this project.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Rob
Can you restore a backup of the bin from the attic?

I have saved a copy of the Avid Attic back up bin in the folder and it still doesn't open.
There should be multiple copies of the bin in the attic. Keep trying them until you get to one that was saved prior to the crash, and it should open.
Thanks for your help. I ended up paying for phone support.
Was a fairly complicated fix in the end but all good now.
I'm glad you got it solved.
What was the fix? This is happening to me now.
