one sound effect doesnt render in mixdown

Hello, in MC 2019.12 I have a strange problem. It never happened before.

I have a timeline with 12 audiotracks(music, VO, and many foley). Some are stereo and some are mono. On every track I have L2 limiter but without thershold, just for safe.

PROBELM: When I render the sequence or when I do the mixdown, a small 2 second stereo sound effect doesnt appear in the mix at all. I tried to render this sound to a different file and than replace it but nothing changed. The gain and the volume of the sund was not adjusted.

    What could be the problem?

    Many thanks

is it possible that this one sound is not the same sample rate as the rest?  This should not matter, but maybe?

I have had similar problems on 2019.12 with audiosute plugins like DVERB.  It seems to be related to media with a different sample rate/ bit depth than the project settings.  Sometimes I get an error when rendering a stereo pair... Trk 1 will render but trk 2 will not render and I get an error message but it always seems to be on files where the sample rate/ bit depth do not match the project settings. I think it's a bug.
