Hi,
I've noticed that when out editors go trough multiple music tracks, with audio scrubbing enabled, avid crashes fairly regularly with no errors and no warnings. also no errors in console.
When we do the same actions with audio scrubbing disabled, no crashes occure.
Anyone else having the same issue?
Regards
Joris
Hi Joris,
Please pm your Avid master account email address so I can open a support case and have it investigated by support team.

I have the same issue on 2018.12.10. MC crashes reliably every one or two minutes, something that I haven´t seen in a long time. But switching back to 2018 due to the untamable gui of 2020, there is always just swapping one downside with another.
Did you find a solution? Probably it´s the go-to solution, delete settings, make new...
Why Avid wants to have this community forum but never posting the solution when actual support is involved is beyond me.

All right, with new settings, the audio scrub crash came on the fastest ever! Stepped one frame to the right with caps lock, crash. Thanks. So in order to be able to edit audio with scrub, after making completely new settings, reboot, delete MC State, I have to take another twenty minutes on sunday on a real tight schedule to reinstall 2020, and have to cope with the gui placing windows at random and all that. Real unhappy to say, it´s a typical experience.
