Hey,
I am a edit assistant and have recently ran into the following issue:
We have recently changed our workflow and instead of transcoding for offline to XD Cam 35 we now do it to DNX HR LB. This seems to work fine for all projects except for one which is shot in 29.97, Interlaced on a FS7 camera. What happens is that random clips from the cards dont transcode and instead drop the dreaded "Consistency check failure" error. These same clips however do transcode fine to XD cam 35 or any DN x HD codec. So my question is - is it simply a DN x HR problem of not being able to handle Interlaced media? What is strange that most clips do transcode, just some random ones in each roll dont...
A fun experiment might be to temporarily flag the linked clips as Progressive (under the Field Motion column I think) before transcoding and see if it works any better.

Hello,
Kestiu:So my question is - is it simply a DN x HR problem of not being able to handle Interlaced media?
According to SMPTE 2019-1:2016 all DNxHR profiles are progressive exclusively. However, depending on your workflow in Media Composer, interlaced media might be encoded into DNxHR after some kind of de-interlacing.
Kestiu:What happens is that random clips from the cards dont transcode and instead drop the dreaded "Consistency check failure" error.
"Consistency check failure" should not happen during proper transcode operation, it might be potential bug. I’d recommend to contact Customer Care with detailed dscription https://www.avid.com/learn-and-support/contact-broadcast-and-video-support
Thanks,
