Last night and today I worked on a minor project since upgrading which involved assembling video clips, using the Audio Mixer, the Title Tool, the Add Edit function, adding secondary video and audio tracks and exporting to QuickTime. No issues came up although for one brief moment during editing I did experience the spinning colored ball hanging which lasted for no more than a few seconds. It wasn't really hard-core editing in the sense that I didn't try any audio scrubbing or trimming. I did all the trimming on QuickTime before dragging the shortened clips to the bin.
My only real concern is that I mistakenly installed macOS Mojave 10.14.1 before installing v2018.10.0 thinking it was the same as 10.14, it's not.
Hi,
I just upgraded to 2018.10 and would like to report a bug. I'm working in a nonstandard project size 1080x1080. I have a PSD file I want to import that is also sized 1080x1080. If I try to import the still as any ProRes flavor, when loaded into the source monitor I get "CORE_CONSISTENCY_CHECK_FAILURE." If I import as DNxHR or DNxUncompressed it imports and plays back fine. I've tried changing the media creation location from network to local storage and that made no difference.
I've went back to my other partition that has Media Composer 8.9.5 on it and was able to import as ProRes just fine.
2018.11 came out today Andrew and supports 10.14.1 Mojave.
Check your MyAvid, appman or the DL center for the laetst version.

Hey, downloaded it first thing this morning, thanks! :)
Hey Marianna,
I actually just upgraded to 2018.11 and it seems like the issue is resolved! I think I'm good here.
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy editing.
I have been asking this question for weeks. I assume it's related to my lack of understanding of how to select already typed out text. I have found that I can type text in an object/field. not sure what the proper nomenclature is, but I can't find a way to justify the text in a field. What happens is the whole object/field justifies but the text withing stays justified left.
I thought in the 2018.12 Titler+ if I selected the justification I wanted before typeing it would be center or right or whatever I choose but once typed I could not find a way to select/highlight that text and change it's justification. All attempts ended up moving the whole object. With 2018.12.1 I can't seem to even preselect the desired justification of the text.
So how do I achieve this most basic part of a text workflow?
