Best Avid MC version for Macbook Pro early 2013?

    Hi All,

I'm looking for a way to find out what the most stable version of Avid MC is for a Mackbook Pro early 2013.

    SPECS:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013)

    macOS Sierra - Version 10.12.3

    Processor - 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

    Memory - 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB - Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Media storage is a 10TB G-Drive using Thunderbolt.

If anyone can tell me off hand what the most stable version is, or a place to be able to input specs to find out, it'd be much appreciated. We are currently using 8.91 and having issues with monitor playback when using trim.

Thanks for any and all help!

I'm using a Late 2013 (13-inch) MacBook Pro over here, running macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 and the latest version of Media Composer 2018.7.1 (this patch which fixes timeline freezes can be found in the download center) without issue. Others have had issues with 2018.7(.1) so you might want to get 2018.5 instead (there's no 2018.6) until those issues have been resolved. (2018.5 is supported on macOS 10.13.4)
