    DNxHR and alpha in QuickTime

Is alpha stored with DNxHR in QuickTime done the same way as for DNxHD?

For DNxHD we expect the alpha to follow the rgb in one QuickTime chunk, and the rgb size to be stored in the last 4 bytes of the chunk. With the DNxHR files exported from MC, I don't see the rgb size in those last 4 bytes...

As of now, it is not possible to export files with Alpha from Avid.  I believe that feature was shown as "Under Investigation" in a post by Marianna.

EDIT:  There are some complicated workarounds for this if you are really in a bind.
