Hi,
Does anyone know if the Matrox MXO2 LE will still work if we upgrade to Media Composer 8.8? If not which was the latest version of MC that did support it?
Thanks
I dont know about MX02 LE, but I can confirm that Matrox MX02 mini is working well. Obviousley it won't handle non-standard raster sizes or any resolution higher than 1080p but otherwise all good.

The LE works great , also with the latest versions

Hello,
may I ask what OSX version you are using? And do you plug it by a thunderbolt adapter or by ExpressCard 3/4.
Is there any beta driver for mac for osx 10.11.6?
fdooman: Is there any beta driver for mac for osx 10.11.6? Thanks
I´ve stayed on 10.10.5 cause of this , dont need the latest from Apple anyhow
Thanks dear mjoinarn, unfortunately I was forced to upgrade since most of the today's software that I purchased way back their upgrades are made for 10.11 and up, therefore, I agree with you, I'm not happy with Apple either. just to look at this realistically, i'm very disappointed with Matrox policy on having such a short life support for their products.
They have the best live support ever, I even took this matter to their attention, but unfortunately was out of their hand. I have invested a lot on their products for my small operation. 3 MXO2 mini- 3 convert dvi plus- 2 Monarch HD. out of all this, Monarch HD still supported, the rest are gone. because of this I'm afraid to buy another of their products.
Their $2000 Monarch HDX are sold these day brand new on eBay for $600 that is still supported. Because, the trust are gone. My friend, don't get me wrong i love matrox for their superior products. I wish someone would listen from their end.

Apple is almost out of business seen from my point of view, letting them concentrate on phones and pads, all my Matrox devices, very similar to what you have, works great on Windows all OS
My Friend, this applies based on every operation needs, not Mac vs. Windows. I use both of them, again based on my operation needs. we're talking products Lifespan.

Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Thanks a bunch dear Marianna, I have done all that, I have a driver for Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite that is not compatible with os x 10.11 el capitan and thats what I have. sometimes matrox may have un-supported beta driver that can prevent all the constantly crashes I'm having.
i will call them today for any solutions, or I may have to look into Blackmagic devices.

Let us know.
I'm on the same boat, MXO2 LE MAX with thunderbolt adapter.
I'm pretty sure they will never release a beta or official drivers for new macOS, cause product is EOL....
Still working fine on Windows.
Dear Qmx, the I/O products are dead. This Is what they told me at this point for my Mac. I have already made the move for all my boxes from Matrox to Blackmagic and I will never buy any of their products again even at %95 discount.
Because of this policy no wonder their flagship product as Monarch HDX goes for $600 NEW on ebay from actual $2500.00. Only time will tell.
The Matrox MX02 is EOL, do not expect new drivers, unfortunately. This is not bad after sales from Matrox, every product out there has a given lifespan. This applies to BM too, one day their current products will be pulled off as well, and have no further support...
