I have a MXF file and I'm struggling to find which project it is associated to. I moved from NY to LA and backedup a ton of projects, but of course the most current one I can't seem to find where it's hidden.
I tracked down the MXF files associated it with and looked at their timestamps, no luck. Is there another way to match it to a project file?
I remember a long time ago there was a russian windows desktop app that did it but it seems to have gone away
I'm having trouble reaching the site tonight but this article from ProVideoCoalition might have the answer:

You can still download the MDV software from this link: http://djfio.com/mdv/. You will need to scroll down the page to find the Windows version downloads. My choice has always been the V0.3 version without preview. It scans very quickly, and I can't imagime being without it.

If I'm not mistaken, you could also put the file on a drive by itself (in the proper MXF media file folder) and then use media tool to look at the file, no?
